This came from Junction City, and was brought forward by J. C. Flint, an old- timer and regular shipper. General conditions In the hog mar ket are Inclined to show a shade of weakness, although not enough stuff came forward this morning to fully test conditions. With the market weaker In the east the local trade at North Portland Is now the highest market. General hog market range: Best live 175 to 220 lbs.. $8.60ff8.65 Prime heavy 226 to 250 lbs 8 60 8.5S Rough and heavy 7.50 7.75 Pigs, 75 to 125 lb .7.50 ft 8.00 Cattle Continue Weak. There was a mere handful of cattle reported in overnight, but the trend of the trade at North Portland con tinues very weak. Even extra good stuff Is showing neglect Killers re port heavy stocks of loins and ribs rn hands, with a very slow demand.
