Clears Skin of Worst Eruptions Remarkable Action of a Rem edy That Drives Every Speck of Poison From Body. . There la a strange, mysterious power In a remarkable blood medicine that finds Its way through the circulation by what Is known as Divine selection. The rem edy Is Swift's Sure Specific, or S. S S Science cannot explain Just why cer. tain elements In the blood feed the bones, others nourish the hair roots, and so on. And It Is this same mysterious action of 8. S. S. that attacks all diseased spots, drives away all germs, heals all sores and supplants the activity of disease germs with the powerful healing action of leucocytes. Remarkable testimonials have been written that prove beyond question there Is no blood disease but what can be cured by 8. S. S. And In all those cases that were treated with mercury, iodides, arsenic, copper and other minerals with no permanent effect, tke most astonishing recoveries have been made by S. S. S. There Is not a blood taint of any na ture that can remain in a system forti fied by this most wonderf.ul remedy, for It Is absolutely pure and contains only those elements that the blood naturally assimilates, and which the tissues grate fully accept. It agrees with the most delicate stomach, even In those cases where the use of strong drugs has so weakened the digestive system that med icine cannot be given. Get a $1.00 bottle of 8. The great thing is to make a good start; I clear the dining room table for instance on a plan. First take away every article that has not been used, putting each one Into its prop er place at once. Next clear away the' used forks, knives and spoons, laying them in a kind or little wooden plate basket. This can be bought at any o and 10 cent store and every day put thick clean 'paper at the bottom of its two compartments. The third step Is to bear off the glasses that have been used on a tray and set them "on the kitchen table, which is covered with newspapers till the washing up Is through. The last step is to bear all the dirty dishes and plates to the sink where the real work awaits its start. Don't pile a heap of crockery into a large pan. After scraping away all scraps into a pan kept for the pur pose, put each article separately into a small pan filled with very hot wa ter and soda. In this it Is well rub bed with a small mop (costing only 5 cents) ti:i all the grease is gone. Directly this is done the dish is put into another small pan filled with lukewarm soapy water. Here it Je rubbed with a piece of soft flannel or linen. When every article has had its second water, the soapy tub CLUB CALENDAR. The kind of material you will be satisfied with Is as cheap now as you will ever see It. With our experience and knowledge of building materials of all kind, we can doubtless show you how you can attain your Ideal home at a much less cost than you may at first think. Our business requires this exacting knowledge and we are sure we can satisfy you in Prices, Quality and Service. Let's talk it over Orgecm Lumber Yard Is filled with -fresh cold water, and every piece of china pased through It and set in the rack' to drain. The value of this triple water pro cess Is soon seen in the drying, for it makes smearing impossible, each plate and dish coming to a- polish in a trice. Try it and see how the mop preserves your hands and how the whole arrangement lessens that hor rid feeling of stickiness and muddle. Now for the plate, cutlery and glass. The two first, wash up in two large common pitchers devoted to the purpose. They take less room to store than two more pans. As be fore, hot soda water is in one, soapy water is in the other, with a rinsing water to follow. The pitcher plan Is most excellent for the knives. First the danger of fumbling about with the blades is avoided, and secondly the handles are not turned yellow by immersion in the very rot water used for ridding them of grease. Wash tumblers by holding first un der the hot and then under the cold water tap with one of the pans set un- J underneatr to keep the water from splashing. To read all these direc tions may possibly suggest that my method Is rather a lengthy business but it really makes for speed, as from start to finish there is in no sense a muddle. GRAY HI TURNS IIS NATURAL COLOR AFTER APPLYING SAGE TEA Mixed With Sulphur It Darkens Beautifully and Takes Off Dandruff. Almost every one knows that Sage Tea and Sulphur, properly compound ed, brings back the natural color and lustre to the hair when faded, streak ed or gray; also cures dandruff, itch ing scalp and stops falling hair. Years ago the only way to get this mixture was to make it at home, which is mussy and troublesome. Nowadays skilled chemists do this better than ourselves. ' By asking at any drug store for the ready-to-use product called "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Hair Remedy" you will get a large bottle for about 50 cents Some druggists make their own but it's usually too sticky, so insist upon getting "Wyeth's" which can be de pended upon to restore natural col or and beauty to the hair and is the best remedy for dandruff, dry, fever ish, itchy scalp and to stop falling hair. Folks like "Wyeth's Sage and Sul phur" because no one can posibly tell that you darkened your hair, as It does it so naturally and evenly, says a well known downtown druggist. You dampen a sponge or soft brush and draw it through your hair, taking one small strand at a time. This requires but a few moments, by morning the gray hair disappears and after anoth er application or two is restored to its natural color and looks even more beautiful and glossy than ever. DOT DESIGN'S IX FLOUNCES 4 44444444 4 4 Scallop and dot designs are the fa vorites for petticoat flodnces that will be subjected to everyday wear. Such petticoats escape the top of the but toned boot by a generous margin, so there is really nothing to wear out dainty flounces, and as it is so short it is not likely to catch in the heels when stairs are descended. There fore, in the interests of a narrow sil houtte, the "drop" ruffle has been discarded and the new petticoats are very soft, clinging garments indeed. Petticoats for evening wear have very deep embroidery flounces on fine carefully fitted tops, the top being usually of soft nainsook while the flounce is of scallop and dot embroid ery, or an English eyelet pattern on a sheer ground. This embroidery flounce is attached to the petticoat top with a ribbon-run beading, or with a strip of lace insertion, the lace being car ried in tabs down into the flounce at intervals to give the effect of airy daintiness. of the farms of the world is seen. Even the low-pric ed petticoats now fit much better at the top than used to be the case, but the woman who Is very fastidious about the lines of her frock, buys her readymade petticoat a size too long and cuts it midway, fitting the upper part carefully by means of small dart- and then attaching the lower part to this fitted upper with ve) scanty gathers. In this way a dollar petticoat may be made to fit as daintily as a $5 model, and the cheap est petticoats are really more service able for everyday wear as they stand the wear and tear of the washtut)' more sturdily than the models of sheer nainsook and very fine embroidery g of modern progress are invited to at tend, and may secure free tickets by calling on Kupers & McCook and Jer ard & Temple. ruffles for nightgowns 4 There is a fancy for ruffles at the lower edge of new nightgowns, and some new trouseau models show quite a deep flounce of fine embroidery at the foot flounce and gown being Join ed by a ribbon-run beading. The long, straight gowns are really the prettiest, however, and hang in most graceful, clinging lines about the feet. All nightgowns should be several inches too long that is, they should drag on the floor .entirely covering the wearer's feet so that the gown must be lifted a bit as she steps about. There is nothing so ungrace ful as a short nightgown, which shows the feet and ankles, and the French blancheuse has a way of ironing the long nightgown with several little pleats, so that the garment falls in exquisite, clinging lines about the limbs. There are adorable boudoir gowns of all over embroidery over slips of silk, and some of these are trimmed with Irish lace, which is always es pecially beautiful in combination with eyelet embroidery. The most delicate colors are selected for lining such negligees, and, in fact, bright hues of any sort are tabooed in lingerie wear of distinction. Faint pink, the palest baby blue and equally pale lavender and yellow, are used for linings and ribbons in the French garments, and only cheap, ready-made underwear shows vivid blue and pink ribbons. Just now there is a fad for black vel vet ribbon in lingerie headings, and it is rather amazing to see presum ably cheerful trousseau garments run with black and velvet and bearing black velvet rosettes and shower bows.
