The bill is passed but before he will sign it ho gives a banquet and invites all the leading politicians. When he comes to speak he presents a child who works in one of the large shops. He contrasts her with his own little daughter. His associates are so ash amed of themselves they endorsed that he veto the bill and promise to sustain his campaign against the evils of the system. 2. "Her Uncle John." Lubin. Grace, who Is engaged to marry, one morning is going to work when she drops her hand bag, a fresh young fellow hands it to her and trys to scrape up an acquaintance with her. He is very persistent and in many ways tries to press his suit. Finally he is cornered and treated to a thrashing by the girl and her Uncle John. 3. "Hoodooed." Lubin. John Brown breaks a mirror and is told it means seven years bad luck. The Hoodoo can only be removed by hav ing some one break a mirror like the one he broke. 4. "True Love." Eclipse. The course of true love never did run smooth. Robert and. She asked for letters from him and her mother gave her blank sheets of pa per. One day they took her to a great surgeon and he cured her eyes, and she saw the box filled with blank pa per and understood. "The Branded Indian." Powers. Indian lost his money playing poker with a half breed and claims Indian stole it. The Indian was captured and the half breed branded him on the cheek. He became an outlaw. But in a series of lively events his in nocence is proven. "His Step Mother." Majestic. In this picture is shown the struggle a young man had with himself when he fell in lovo with a girl whom his fath er married in is absence. But matters were properly adjusted in the end. ' "Those Married Men." Gt North en. A farce comedy showing three great comedians at their best. How they escaped from their wives and their subsequent adventures are very amusing.
