Moore of the United States patent office stating that he had been granted a patent to his re silient wheel which he perfected some time ago and the plans of which ho sent to the patent office at that time. Mr. Jay will immediately send for the patent papers and will then pre pare his invention for the market. The resilient wheel, ft will be re membered, was devised to take the jar which a vehicle receives in traveling and is especially adapted for auto mobiles. The patented part of the wheel is the spoke formation. These spokes are made of iron and curve from the hub to the rim in a half circle, thus forming a spring. This, the inventor claims, eliminates the necessity of pneumatic tires for auto mobiles, those of solid rubber being sufficient. While the new wheel is devised es pecially for automobiles it can be used for any rolling vehicle with eiual advantage, according to Mr. Jay. The only test which has been made of the Invention has convinced Mr. Jay that he has a device ' that will revolutionize the wheel making nuustry. Beware of Side Needle Spine Physicians today recognize the sewing machine as being the basic cause of more nervous disorders peculiar to woman than any other modern convenience. Of all human inventions, the ordinary aewing machine does more to wreck a wom an's health, by producing spinal weakness, causing nervous troubles, and lingering, tor turing internal displacements than any other cause. The reason Is plain look at the construc tion of your sewing machine : on account of the needle being A'A inches away from the centre, where it should be, you have to sit in a position with your body twisted out of plumb to operate it. Think what this twisting of your spine and other dclicnte internal organs means, and you can't operate your machine with your feet on the treadle without this twist in your body. Now compnre this with n STANDARD CENTRAL NEEDLE MACHINE built to operate with the needle central, right in front of you and directly over the centre of the treadle. This construction enables yon to sit straight and do your sewing without the least strain on your spine or any part of your internal nnatomv. You enn sew on . this STANDARD CENTRAL NEEDLE MA. CHINE all day, without feeling tired or get ting a pain in your back. Yon can sit in a natural position without undue strain on your stomach and nerves. This new type of machine means freedom from suffering and ushers in a tremendous advance for health and happiness and free dom from disease. And thia machine is easily within your Teach easy to buy and easy to operate, will save It cost in doctor's bills, to say nothing of health.
