Yesterday's sales of selected Montana stock at S 7.25 clearly showed what killers think of the situation and while they are in this mood the po sition of the price seems-secure. A mountain of debt has been piled up to be settled by tho members of the present com pany the. directors of which are . V. Gregg, principal owner, Dr. T. L. Catterson and W.. II. Schissler. The paper was losing at the rate oof $10, 000 a month at the time of its demise according to Mr. Sammis. the repre sentative of Mr. Gregg, and this sum is but half of the sum lost monthly un to the time of the receiver's sale, February IS.
