There Is a very dull tone In the barley market with no business at all offering from the east for brewing. Feed barley Is nominally quoted at $23 here, with brewing at $24. Trnrto in oats Is somewhat weak er, owing to the more free offering by growers. Prices range from 127 to $27.50 a ton track delivery Port land, but few are now offering over the lower figure. The latter reforms and when his accomplice ts released, has become a minister and holds a high place in society. The released con vict begins his depredations again and breaks Into the home of the fiance of the clergyman's son. Then he carries off the Jewels to the minister and forces him to hide them In his safe. There the son finds them and is with difficulty convinced the clergyman is not the thief. The minister dons his burglar's garb and returns the Jewels and when his former partner in crime returns for them reads him such a lesson that ho reforms. "A Race for a Wife."
