The beneficial effects of washes, 8pra3'S, inhalations, etc., are only temporary, n,nd when left off the old condition returns, because the blood is infected with catarrhal matter and impurities. This impure condition of the circulation irritates and in flames the delicate nmcous mem branes and tissues and produces the well known symptoms of ringing noises in the head and ears, mucus in the throat, headaches, watery eyes, partial deafness, sore throat, general impairment of health, etc. This con dition will remain, growing worse as long as the catarrhal matter is al lowed to remain in the blood. Being a specific blood impurity, there is only one way to cure Catarrh, and that is te purify the blood. Nothing equals S. S. S. for this purpose. It attacks the disease at its head in the circu lationand by thoroughly renovating the blood and cleansing it of all impure mattet, makes a perma nent and lasting cure of the dis ease. For forty years S. S. S. has been recognized as th best blood purifier, and the thousands of cases of Catarrh it has cured is proof that it is the very medicine . needed by those who suffer with thjs trouble. Duluth May, $1.08 7-8 bid. Winnipeg May, 97 l-4c bid. The wheat market is steady. Buy ing of wheat Is on a better scalo al though there Is little tendency to change qotatlons. The market for club which has been nominally quot ed at 78c and 79c recently with no business at theao figures, was placed at 80c track today with a number of purchases at Interior joints on tha basis. There Is a difference of opinion abong buyers as to the worth of blue stem wheat at this time. Millers say their top limits are 83c, while export ngi-nts declare they are quite willing to tuko offerings up to 85c a bushel. There Is a much weaker feeling In the flour market owing to the recent sharp declines In wheat, but beyond seen cutting by Interior mills, prices are unchanged. It Is likely, however, that some shading will be shown lo cally unless there Is a change In the wheat situation. SIX. S1IOOTKR KATE" ENDS ROMANCE OF THE HILLS Spokane, Wash. Mrs. M. From- herz, known all over the panhandle of Idaho as "Six Shooter Kate," fron llcrswoman, nurse and rancher, was granted a decree without alimony in her action for divorce In the Spokane county superior court. Judge J. Stanley Webster presided. Thus ends a romance of the hills that began a year ago, when the woman reined her horse at the door of Fromherx's cab in near Wallace and asked for food and shelter. Fromherz guided her to the home of a neighbor, where she remained three days. Soon afterward Fromhers received a letter from a lawyer, saying that his client insisted upon marriage or compensation for her bruised affections. The wedding followed three days later, and, ac cording to the testimony, Fromhers reputed to be a good-natured farmer, started to make things lively for his robust spouse, the result being she came to Spokane and after acquiring legal residence instituted proceed ings for divorce. Mrs. Fromhers was named "Six Shooter Kate" by an ex convict, whom she captured single handed and delivered to the authori ties. . Do you take the Bast O re gonial. Many a happy citizen makes a public state ment of his experience. Here is a case of It What better proof of merit can be Lad than such endorsement T Mrs. William McGregor, 711 Lll leth street. Pendleton, Oregon,- says: "Doan'a Kidney Pills are by far the best kidney medicine I ever used. I was troubled from childhood by kid ney complaint My hands and feet swelled, in fact my whole body bloat ed and I had a great deal of trouble from the kidney secretions. There was a dull pain In my cack and sides and often after stooping, 1 found it difficult to straighten. Dizzy spells and headaches were frequent and my nerves were all unstrung. I rested poorly and on arising In the morning was tired and devoid of ambition. As time passed, my condition became worse and it would be hard to fully describe the misery I endured. I spent many dollars for doctors' treat ment and I also tried remedies of every kind, but to no. avail until I procured Doan's Kidney Pills. This preparation restored me to good health, after visits to hot springs and treatment of every other kind had failed. I do not hesitate to tell of my experience and I trust that my state ment will be the means of helping other kidney sufferers." For sale by all dealers. Price SO cents.
