Chicago, March 4. There was a tendency among traders to sell Wheat at the opening today, but the market closed with an advance of l-8o to l-2c a bushel over yesterday.' At the start of the market the trade was still talking of the bearish report of farmers' reserves of wheat given out by B. F. Snow yesterday. May opened at $1.12 7-8 to $1 13 1-8; July, $1.04 3-4 to $1.04 7-8, and September, $1 8-8. There was only a small period after the start wherein weakness was displayed, but, with the exception of 'September options, con tinued Just about steady the rest of the day. Because of damage reports, there was a further changing over of hold ings from May and July Into the Sep tember, and this was what forced the closing advance of l-!c a bushel In that delivery. . Liverpool was weak and 1-id low er at the opening, but Improved later In the day and closed with an advance of l-8d to S-8d over yesterday.
