In railway circles much interest Is manifested In tho result of tests now being mado on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul road with a now automatic block system. It is claimed for tho new system that it cannot fall to prevent collisions and other accidents when engineers disregard or fall to see signals. The mechanism Is so arrang ed so that when an engineer passes into a section that is blocked against him an automatic device sets the air brakes and stops the train. This device Is operated by a battery of springs, which are wound up by the vibratory motion of the rails as the engine and train pass over them Accordingly there is no dependence on electricity, which' is not trustwor thy in bad weather. DOCTORS ENDORSE HERPICIDE. Because Its Formula Is Submitted to Them. Alexander McMillan, M. D a prom inent physician of Lansing, Mlchl gan, writes: "On three cases I have tested Herplclde for dandruff and tho result has been all that could bo de sired." Hepricide Is made upon an entire ly new principle, that is, that dandruff and falling hair are caused from a microbe that infests tho hair bulb, and, by destroying the microbe one's hair is bound to grow luxuriantly. Herpicide is the onl hair remedy that claims to, and really does destroy the dandruff germs. Interstate Debate at Laramie. ' Laramie, Wyo., May 2.
