A newspaper story from Cottage Grove is to the effect that the Ore gon and Southeastern road Is ono which will extend from Cottage Grove to the coast. A Cottage Grove special says: It Is understood that tho now road will be operated by steam, Instead of by electricity, as at first contemplat ed, and that the first link, from here to Lorane, will bo built during tho summer of 1913, tho balance to be ( constructed as conditions warrant, mo oojeci ueing to get to winencstor Bay by the time tho Panama canal Is opened. The now road will open up tremen dous tracts of timber and thousands of acres of agricultural land and will be one of tho biggest things that has happened in the history of Cottago Grove.
