M. the writer took his place ns ., merchant in Mavshfield in his own store con ducted under his own name having completed ne gotiations for the purchase of the McArthur Phar macy. Tho greetings and good wishes of a host ,oC friends arc encouraging. T hope to deserve success. Success will not come unless I deserve it. I shall strive very hard to please you. The store is small, but at present the only avail I'blc. But then you know large oaks from little acorns grow. One of the dominating features of this store will be courtesy. Courtesy to my patrons. Courtesy to tho public. Courtesy to everyone. Much, yes, nearly everything else is of small consequence where there is courtesy a smile, a respectful attitude to everyone. This store will be conducted to serve all the people. My guarantee to buy back anything at the price 1 sold it for, is only fair dealing nothing more. This principle will form the kevstonc of my future business. And as to my capital, I may not have as much money as some of my friends, not nearly as much, but I have sufficient for my business that 's enough. I am not exclusive agent for anything this is not an exclusive store. Phono all your wants to 71-J. When you want prompt service in case of acci dent or emergency, call 74-J. If you need medicine- of any kind, call 74-J. If you want a doctor quickly, phono 74-J. Tn fact, if you want anything from my store, call 74-J, and it will bo quickly delivered. My object is to serve you promptly. All 'phones lead to this store 74-J. If what you want is not in stock I will bo earn est in my endeavor to get it. If I have it, you may buy it safely under my guarantee. 2STov I have told my story briefly A rather plain, matter of fact talc. This is probably tho most I will have to say for many a day. MY HAT IS IN TUB KING NOW FOR RESULTS. I will sincerely appreciate the opportunity for meeting any service or other test to which you might subject mo. Many thanks for your attention, FRANK D. COHAN. P. S. To all the friends of my predecessor, Mr. McArthur, I desire to say, I shall strive to merit a continuance of their patronago by earnest and con pcientious endeavor to servo faithfully and well iw ho has.
