Shortly after receiving this lettor I went to Coqulllo City accompanied by his father, Robert Mnrsden, Sr., nnd his brother, Robert Mnrsden. I told the dofendnnt nt that time, that what ho had written nnd hnd Bald to me, had entirely removed any fooling of animosity and thnt whin, tho same testimony would be given nt mo trial as wns given before the mag v Istrnto at the preliminary hearing, whon ho wns bound over, that I was snt'slled that the grand Jury would Indict him nnd nltho I did not know whnt his defense would be, I thought ho should bo prepared to make what ever defense ho hnd boforo tho trial Jury, nnd that I felt ho would bo con victed.
