Mr. Clarko's domestic life was n model of purity nnd uprightness During all of the long weary hours he spent In his lnbors upon affairs of momontous consequonco to tho public nnd which sapped him of his vitality, his lovo for his family was constantly with him. To ono who frequently visited his homo ns a friend It seemed that there never ex isted n inoio perfect homo a home In which more lovo nnd harmony dwelt a homo In which thcro was moro mutual devotion. Ho loved his homo und his family. When tho last moment came for him and ho realized that tho transi tion wns nt hand when ho stood face to faco with tho grim spector, Death, ho met it all bravoly und with n smile snld, "I want to go to my wife."
