An Interesting tangle over Coos Day real estate transactions develop ed today when Dr. G. V. Leslie serv ed notice on Earl Dlbblo not to sell certain Ferndnlo property and that ho wnR making application to tho Court for enjoining any snle of lots there. Dr. l.csllo contends that ho has purchased tho property In ques tion from A. S. Dlbbol, formerly of Coos Hay but now of San Diego, while Karl Dibble, the lntter's son niul ngent contends otherwise. It will probably have to bo thrashed out In tho courts. There arc two ver sions to tho story which differ mnte-rlully. Dr. Leslie bases his claim on nc- tlous of Alvn Doll as his agent. In tho latter part of .July, Mr. Doll sent a telegram to A. S. Dibble offering $1,700 for the block containing four teen fifty-foot lots. Mr. Doll signed Dr. Leslie's name to It. An answer came back accepting the offer but It was addressed to Dr. Leslie who was thou In the east anil Mr. Doll's In structions to the telegraph olllco to have the message delivered to him were overlooked or forgotten. Final ly u day afterward, the message was turned over to Mr. Doll who Imme diately deposited ?fi00 In tho bank and had them notify Mr. Dlbblo. Then Mr. Dibble, according to the claims of Messrs Doll nud Leslie, wired Imt-K to cancel tho deal. They hold that his acceptance was bona (lde mid In sist on It being carried out.
