SECTION 15. Every person convicted of a violation ot this Ordlnnnco to whom a license has been granted hereundor, shall thereby forfeit such license issued to him, which wild license, upon proof of conviction, shnll bo revoked by the Common Council, and theienfter no license shall issuo to such person under this Ordinance, within one year from the dnte of such revo'eatlon; provided, that the above enumerated cause shall not excludo other causes for revoking any license granted hereunder. SECTION 10. Any keeper or proprietor of nny saloon, bar-room, or other place where spirituous, malt or vinous liquors are sold or kept for sale, or nny bar-tender, employee, or any other person, who shall sell, barter, exchange or give nwny or cause to be sold, bartered, exchanged or given away, nny Intoxicating liquor to any person nlroady intoxicated, or to any person under tho ngo ot twonty-ono years, or to any person in tho habit ot becoming Intoxicated, or to nny person during nny of tho times or hours when saloons nro required to remain closed by this Ordlnnnco, shnll upon conviction thereof before tho Recorder's Court bo punished by a lino of not less than twenty-five dollnrn nor moro thnn ono hundred dollars, or by Imprisonment In tho City Jail not less thnn ten dnyB or by both such lino and lmprlsonmont In tho discretion of tho Court. SECTION 17. Tho provisions of this Ordlnnnco shnll not apply to tho sale of liquors for medicinal purposes by a regularly licensed druggist upon tho prescription of n physician or surgeon entitled to prnctlco inodlclno under tho laws of tho State of Oregon, provided that any druggist soiling spirituous, malt or vinous liquors otherwise thnn upon said prescription of a licensed physician shall bo dcemod guilty of a violation ot this Ordi nance and shnll bo punished accordingly. SECTION 18. Ordlnanco No. 289, ontltled: "An Ordlnnnco to Hcoubc, rogulato and provent bar-rooms, saloons, and drinking shops and to prohibit tho aalo of liquor without a llccnso," and all Ordinances and parts thoroot in conflict herewith aro horoby repealed. SECTION 19. Whcroas tho prosont Ordlnanco governing tho granting ot licenses for tho oalo ot spirituous, malt or vinous liquors, and rotating to tho othor mutters in this Ordlnanco contained la dofoctlro In that It does not provldo for tho forfolturo ot such licenses and in that It doea not requtro tho closing ot all places whoroln spirituous, malt or vinous liquors aro sold botweon 12 P. M. of Saturday and C A. M. of the following Monday. Now, Therefore, tho enactmont ot this Ordlnanco is nccossary for the Immodlato preservation ot the peace, health and safety of tho City, and an emergency Is horoby declared to exist and this Ordlnanco shall bo In full force aud effect from nnd after Its passago by tho Common Council and approval by tho Mayor.
