It Is estimated that Oregon hab proximately 100,000,000,000 fgot of morchantablo timber. About ouo third of this Is In National forest reserves within tho state. It Is pointed out that thero Is an area pf burned over land nearly one quarter na largo as that now occu pied by standing timber nnd that this Is cnpablo of reforestation and commercial uso within tho next 10 to Op years.
