FRANK ROGERS, who has been quite ill of tonsilltis at his home - on Coos River is improving. MRS. CHARLEY OLSON of Eastside entertained a number of friends from Marshfield last Monday. MISS ANNA NEWMAN, who has been visiting at the home of E. F. Morrisey, left to-day for Portland. MISS CECILE MILLER and Miss Mlllls, her teacher, will sing at the morning service in the Baptist Church. MRS. T. M. HERMANN and daugh ter, Miss Myrtle, arrived on the Breakwater. Mrs. Hermann was at Collins Springs, Mich., for seven weeks, under treatment for rheu matism. Sho returns much im proved and left last evening for her home above Myrtle Point. DAN MALONEY, news editor of The Times, and his sister, Miss Mario Maloney, have returned from a two weeks' visit in Portland for a couple of weeks' visit at the home of her brother, E. L. Church, after which she will go to Califor nia for an extended visit before re turning home. BEND NEWS E. Hayes left to-day for WM. BJORQUIST and wife arrived on the Breakwater from a three years' trip to Gamlakarleby, Fin land. Mrs. Bjorqulst Is the daughter of John Mattson of Catch ing Inlet.
