The game was a fairly good one, despite the high wind and the poor diamond, tho outilold being very bad. Only a few came over from Bandon with the Bandon team. The latter team returned home In autos, two machines taking them from here to Coqullle, where they caught a boat. Myrtle Point, Which was expected to play North Bend at North Bend yesterday did not put In an appear ance. Next Sunday the Marshfleld team will go to Bandon. Whether or hot " an excursion will be run from here is not certain as there Is some difficulty in getting a special train. Use of Water There Has to Be Re- , strict ed. The Coqullle Sentinel says: "Co qulllo has been on the verge of going dry si vera 1 times during the past week. Not that a prohibition wave has struck the town, but the exees- she use of the water supply for Irri gation purposes has already caused one of the reservoirs to go dry and the supply in tho others was rap!dl diminishing when the water superin tendent called the attention of the council to the fact that the city was about to become a veritable Sahara. That august, body then sat up and took notice. Thoughts of sending ' children to bed after the cat had been put out of doors and the clock wound without the usual mouthful of aqua pnra, was more than even a council man could s and, and the attention of tho water superintendent was called to a certain ordinance which empowered htm to limit the us" of water tor irrigation purposes to cer tain hours of the day and he was In structed to make use of that powei at once. To add -to the problem, one of tho mains became unjolnted and there was a gigantic spilling until th. water could be shut off. However, with the burstod main repaired and the ordinance properly complied with, it It is to be hoped that there will bo an ample supply in tho reservoir? from now on for such an emergency as a fire, and that there will be no excuse for anyone not remaining on tho water wagon if they desiro to." puuence in mat line, Having tor a long time had charge of a shop at Myrtle Point. 11 11 fajfji COt ami IJSS'Sk It S oEI To Buy a Friend Bros.'
