"During my lecent trip through California," remarked Joseph Nay, of Port Orford, "I visited J. A. Yoak am, a former Coos county boy who is now located at Gridley, on the Feather river. He Is engaged in real estate and ranching and has made a big business success. He is the own er of 440 acres of fine farming land on the Feather river. Every foot of his farm is tillable and land there Is selling from $250 to $500 per acre. "Jap" Yoakham has many friends who will he pleased to learn of his success, I am sure. The Feather riv er country is fine and one has to go theie and see it as I did to appre ciate it. I cannot describe it." Mr. Nay leaves tomorrow for his country home near Port Orford. Notice.
