There has been some talk to the effect that the company might open a branch honso In Mnrshfleld, but Mr. Smith would not talk about It. Catches Thief. This morning Marshal Carter arrested Dudley E. Eldred, a recent arrival here, for the theft of $1.S5 from Mrs. Helen Tul loy, who conducts the Breakwater Hotel, where Eldred has been stop ping. According to Mrs. Tulley's statement, Eldred slipped into her room this morning and took the change from her purse. He had spent most of It when apprehended.
