PLAN1 WflMMflftrfMWlMflNH Buy Yow Winter 10 S 0 v It-' Reorganization of Coos Bay, Boise and Idaho Rail way Effected. In order to let the business men of Roseburg take hold of the Coos Bay, Boise and Idaho Hallway pro ject on the same basis that the Coos Bay men are Interested, a re organization of the company has be come necessary. The plan Is to divide the directors and capital of the holding company between Coos Bay and Roseburg, each terminus of the present project taking half. In or der to do this, some of the local of ficers have to resign and allow Rose burg men to take their place on the board. Patrick Hennessey, who has been president of the company since Its -organization, has tendered his resig nation and urges that it be accepted. In doing so, he says his time Is so taken up with his private Interests! and duties on the city council that' Jje cannot take care of the duties of "the other position. However, he will remain ready to assist It in any way possible. C. C. Carter of Myr tle Point, has also resigned. The remaining local directors are Win. Grimes and Tom Bennett of Marshfield, and J. R. Smith, J. C. Gray and L. F. Falkensteln of North Bend. It Is likely that some further changes will be necessary to allow Marshfield and North Bend equal representation. W. II. Creason, Edit-' or Leo Wlmberly are the Roseburg directors, and Banker Henry Booth the trustee of Roseburg's stock. ,.,, J. C, Gray reported at a meeting of the directors of the road last night that Roseburg Is taking hold of the project In good shape and will soon be ready to furnish its share of the cost of the survey and other Inci dental expenses. H. C. DIers, who was In Roseburg, Bays that Roseburg Is alarmed that the Natron cutoff will make the lino through Roseburg merely a siding, all of the through trains being run j by the new road and the division ' point being moved to Natron. Con sequently unless the Coos Bay line Is made a reality and Roseburg gets on. It, much of that city's Importance will bo lost. Mr. DIers says thot Roseburg Is making a wonderful ad vancement.
