The Charter revision committee will meet at the city hall tonight to receive the final reports from the sub-committees on the various divisions of 'the new charter. Skinner and family arrived here on the Breakwater this morning, coming di rect from Oklnhoma City. They shipped their goods here and Intend to make their home on Coos Bay. When they left Oklahoma City, they were undecided as to whether they would locate at Klamath Falls, near Ashland or Coos Bay, but en route heard so much of this section, that they determined to come here. Mr. Skinner expects to invest quite heav- Go fo Sound. John Swing Is hav ing his sea-going launch, "Ranger" overhauled and put In condition for a long trip, which he expects to make to Puget Sound points this summer. He expects to leave hero about the middle of April and will spend the summer on the Sound near Seattle, enjoying the exposition and sharing in the extra business that it will mean for that country. No Trnco of Carlson. No trace has yet been secured of Axel Carl son, the Smith mill hand who mys teriously disappeared from the mill hoarding house in February. Aug ust Frlzeen has secured the number of the missing man's watch and hopes this will enable him to make a more careful search. Relatives in North Dakota, Canada and the old country are being corresponded with concerning the missing man. Miss Hayden of Empire, visited friends hero yesterday. Hallle Simpson has been ill at his home hero this week. Mayor and Mr.s. L.- J., Simpson re turned today from Shore Acres. Percy Pratt, who has been ill at his home this week, is now improv ing, w, - Miss Stella WIcklund of Empiro, is the guest of her sister, Miss Alpha WIcklund. Mrs. Chas. Masters of Marshfleld, is spending a few days' with relatives at Sumner. Miss Minnie Sanford of Ton Mile, is the guest today of her sister, Mrs. C. A. Nollner. The Risdon Iron and Locomotive Works have started suit against the Coos Bay, Roseburg and Eastern Railroad and Naviga tion Company and R. A. Graham, to recover over $18,000 for material alleged to be due it for material furnished prior to the appointment of W. S. Chandler as receiver for the line. The suit will probably be tried at the April term of circuit court. KIDS WANTED. Russel and son, Leo nard of North Coos River, are visit ing relatives and shopping today in North Bend. Mrs. C. H. Flltcroft and daughter, Miss Maude, havo moved here from Portland and will reside near the Reynold's mill on Pony Inlet. F. J. Stecklo of Mlllington, who has been 111 for some time, Is report ed to be very poorly, his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Masters of Sumner, has been sent for. Mrs. C. S. Kaiser and daughter, Theodora of Porter Addition, will shortly move to Bandon where they will spend tho summer. Mr. Kai ser Is one of the contractors on tho new school building to be erected there this summer. McKNIGHT and Tom Hall .spent yesterdny on Hnynes Inlet In quest of trout. They secured twelve good trout, part of them with bait. The dredging opera tions of the inlet are bad fur fish ing there. KARL HAINES, a son of F, A. Haines, arrived on the Break water today.
