Smith has been appointed as guardian for Jack Linn, an aged and eccentric farmer, south of the city. Since a stroke of para lysis three years ago, Linn hobbles up and down the road in front of his home, singing and shouting to pre vent the disease from reaching his throat and tongue. He walks almost constantly for tho same purpose and says that with proper care he will live to be two hundred years old. Ho says that if ho had started in time ho could have reached the age of one thousand years. He owns a farm of one hundred acres, fifty of which Is oak woodland, never yet touched by an axe, and the timber alone Is valued at $10,000. Too kind hearted to kill or sell stock, ho has fed hogs and cattle until they die of old age. Only once has he been known to sell any live stock, and that was to dissolve a partnership between him self and a brother. ALL NICKELODEONS BARRED. New Yorkers Can No Longer Sec Moving Pictures.
