Bnndon Couple Remarry. At tho Methodist parsonage on Thursday, at 8 p. m Russell A. Kent of Bandon,. and Mrs. Nora A. Kent of Bandon were married, the Rev. W. R. F. Browne, pastor of the church, officiat ing. The couple were divorced soma time ago but have decided that their separation was a mistake. Mr. Kent operates a launch on the Coqullle. Many Go to Picnic. A largo number are planning to attend the Labor Day picnic and celebration at North Bend Monday. The parties ln charge have arranged an entertain ing program covering the entire day and winding up with a dance in tha evening. The day has been set aside as a holiday and will probably bo generally observed by the local mills, and factories. Mrs. Mlngns Undergoes Opera tion. Mrs. E. Mlngua, wife of Dr. E MIngus, is rapidly recovering from an operation which she underwent on account of an injury to her wrist sustained in a runaway several weeks ago. She did not take any anaesthotlc. While the operation will deprive her of tho use of her left hand for some days, she has not been laid up by it. Must Undergo Operation. Frank hfobe who sustained a fractured, limb ln tho railway drawbridge acci dent near tho depot a few weeks ago will undergo an operation Sundny. It seems that the fracture was not reduced so as to heal properly and it has been decided to attend to It at once.
