Marshfleld and North Bend Knights of Pythias united In a ban quet and reception at North Bend last night to Grand Chancellor Moscr of Oregon Pythianism who is visit ing the lodges in tho Coos Bay coun try. Chamberlain and Judgo Scott were among the guests ot hon or. Tho early part of the evening was devoted to exemplification of the de- Alliance Sailed This Afternoon With Large Number of Passengers. The Alliance sailed for Portland this afternoon at 1 o'clock with a good freight cargo and a large num ber of passengers. Captain Olson did not get out as soon as expected owing to the time taken hi unloading three carloads of steel rails for the Smith- Powers Logging Company. In the t outgoing cargo, the Alliance had 1,050 cases of condensed milk and I three carloads of doors. Among the passengers were the . following: Gov. Geo. E. Chamberlain, H. Grindholm, D.
