The gaso line launch, Enterprise, which was recently purchased by R. D. Hume, reached Coos Bay from Wedderburn today laden with salmon. Plant in Tomorrow. Agent F. S. Dow today received word that the M. F. Plant had sailed from San Francisco yesterday at 4'o'clock and will reach Coos Bay Saturday. Called to San Francisco. J. R. The Young Peo ple's societies of a number of tho churches have arranged for a "Sun rise meeting" Easter Sunday morn ing, at G o'clock, at tho Presbyterian church. A feature of tho service will be special music under tho direction of C. J. Millls. Postpone Baseball Meeting. As a result of only half a dozen turning out last evening, Manager Charles Howard decided to postpone the meeting to arrango for tho baseball season. Ho will call another meet ing soon and attempt to do some thing. If Marshfield wants a baso- ball team, It is simply up to them to got out and help tho movomont along. Young Couplu Weds. L. D. Bollou and Miss Ethel Boone wore married lats evening by tho Rev. W. R. F. Browno, tho ceremony being solem nized at 8:30 and was witnessed by about fourteen intimato friends. Pierce, formerly of Coos Bay but now of Curry county, was In Marsh field this week en routo homo from Rosoburg where ho participated in a timber claim drawing. Ho secured two claims near Port Orford, ono for hlmsolf and ono for his wifo, that are said to bo worth between $12,000 and $15,000. Ho snld that there was a great rush for tho Curry county lands. IDA PATTERSON, formerly a resident of Coos Bay but who has for the last three years been living In Portland, intends returning to Coos Bay next week and will re main thru the summer with rela tives in Marshfield.
