Mr. Tlmmerman has mado. no plans as to tho stylo or specifi cations but it is assured that tho boat will rank with any on tho bay. MRS. Tho former's sleight of hand work was equally mystifying and Interest ing, while Mrs. Hoyt's serpentina dance on a rolling sphere, under tho rays of colored lights, was some thing entirely now to Coos Bay. Tho question of quarters for tho depart ment was taken up, but remained undisposed of owing to tho fact that tho committeo appointed by tho city council has not taken any action as yet. Tho members of tho depart ment bollovo that tho mombors oC tho council will take definite ac tion at its next meeting. Tho ex empt members of tho department demonstrated Thursday night that they are still as young and zealous as over, when a number of thom asked to bo put on the active list.
