Committee on Permanent Organization reported as follows: 1st—The election o f a Peimanent Presi dent. 2nd- -Secretary. 3rd—2 Tellers. On motion the election was ordered by ballot, and tbe chair appointed Messrs, speake and Odell as Tellers. Messrs. Beers and Chandler were placed in nomination for President. Upon the ballots being counted R. Beers had 32 votes, and Chaudler had 9 votes. J. H. Parker was nominated as Sec'y, and elected by acclamation.
