Itotno J- Jkttocen Bux$tlt$ This Store Is a Public Servant It collects meritorious goods only and prices them fairly. It uses the world for its field to obtain its merchandise. It refuses to accept anything vithin its doors that will not add credit to the name that guarantees it. It strives to serve the public that seek desirable goods rather than a cheap price. Dependable, serviceable, worthy merchandise. The Turkish families do not use finger bowls after their dinners, but they do not have sticky fingers either. The servant passes from one member of the .family to another with a brass pot of perfumed water and a large brass bowl. He pours the water gently over the fingers and lets the water drip into the bowl. We have some of these novel finger bowls, in our Sixth Floor Art De partment. Made of hammered brass in antique design. Complete with brass tabouret to match. On the same floor will also be found a large number of novel objects from almost every country under the sun. A visit to this floor will solve your gift-giving difficulties. Most young women love bril liant colors, and non it is pos sible to revel in bright colors without being thought crude. The brighter hued the plumage, the more in keeping with Dame Fashion's dictates. The small women and junior girls will find a feast of color in our Junior Shop that outrivals nature in her Autumn garb. The new sport coats in soft chinchillas are responsible for this, as they flaunt emerald greens, burnt orange, American Beauty, golden browns and royal blues among their numbers, as well as many two-toned shades in brilliant effects. Fascinating Fur trimmings are being shown in the trimming de partment. Fur trimmings in such glossy smoothness and soft warm fluffiness that they fairly com pel a caressing pat. One of the pattern experts was in from New York this morning and made the statement that more dresses were spoiled by the wrong trimming, than from any other cause. One cannot go wrong on a piece of fur this season; it adds richness to the plainest costume, and there are enough styles and prices to make it easy to find something for a plain serge frock, or your very dearest dressy-up dress. Bead Tunics make the most practical evening dress for the wo man who cannot afford to pay the extravagant French prices for this style of gown all made up. And they are things of real beauty. Glit tery sparkling beads in all colors, jets that glow like black diamonds, opal escent beads that look like shreds of captured moon beams, and scattered among the elaborate embroideries are the cunningiest little French roses of maize, blue or pink chiffon. They would harmonize with any color that is your favorite, and come already made up, just ready to be stitched to a plain slip. Best of all are the prices, which range from $10.00 to $45.00.
