Thompson. 2nd Floor Corbett Bldg.. Portland. Or. My Dear Sir: Mr. Roosevelt desires me to thank you for your kindness. He much appreciates your attention. Secretary to Mr. Roosevelt There is a notable increase in my business. I expect it from the class'of work I am doing. I do not expect to get all the optical business in the city, any more than one physician could obtain all the medical prac tice, but my aim is to secure patronage enough to keep me reasonably busy and to give such satisfaction that my institution will be indelibly fixed in the minds of those who desire the best at moderate charges. It is very gratifying to note that much of my pat ronage recently has come from parties who have been recommended to me by pleased customers. Hence I want more customers to please. All the work, from the examination of the eye to the finished lenses and fitting of glasses is done under my personal - super vision. Knowing that the work is right, I do not hesi tate to guarantee satisfaction. Hours 9 to 5:30. Closed Sundays. THE AVENUE HOTEL " r F FORT WILLIAM. ONT. . ' Fort William, Ont, Oct 28. 09.
