Bauer's nomine plsteons yesterday won a race held under the auspices of the Oregon Homing Pigeon Club. This is the fourth of a scries of races for young pla-cona over what is known as the Northern course. Mr. Bauer's youngr bird was the only one of 3S. liberated early yesterday mornlna; at Seattle, to arrive home up to a late hour last nlfrht. The little bird, much fatigued, flew into the loft at Mr. Bauer's bonie. completing one of the most remarkable younr bird flisrhta ever held. The first race of the season was held from Castle Rock, the SO-mlle direct air linn station. The next was held from Chehalls. Wash.. August 30. with 3 birds competing.
