To look lor Islands believed to exist and plant a British, flag on each Is the business on which the exploring: steamer Nimrod, which took Lieutenant Shackleton's ei . pedltlon to the Antarctic, has sailed from Sydney, according to advices received- by the steamer Makura today. Lieutenant Shackleton says the present : cruise Is to complete the Antarctic ork by a complete search in the sub ' Arctic for several Islands, the existence ;of which Is doubtful. Man has never" set foot on Emerald. Nimrod or Doherty 'Islands, but Captain J. H. Davis, now commander of the Nimrod, is to seek the Islands and plant a British flag on each. - . Professor David, who accompanied the Shackleton expedition to the Ant arctic, reports that analysis of speci mens brought with him show the ex istence of radium in the Antarctic. LIQUOR IS DEBATE TOPIC Milwaukee's Mayor and Rev. Mr. Dickie to Discuss Issue. SEATTLE. June 1. Samuel Dickie. D. IT., president of Albion College at Albion, Mich., and Mayor David S. Rose, of Mil waukee, will hold a Joint debate on the liquor question at the Alaska-Yukon-Pa-ciflo Exposition grounds June 11.
