V K V YACOLT LINE INSPECTED BETTER SERVICE DEMANDED OF N. P. IN CIjARK COUNTY. Ketoo and Kalama Make Requests ol Railroad Commission End Trip Today. VANCOUVER. Wash.. April 22.-(Sp-ei&l ) Washington's Railroad Commission today inspected all stations on the Ya branch of the Northern Pacific and from Vancouver to KelBO on the main line. Complaints of train service were made at Yacolt and Ridgefleld. An in dustrial spur was asked for at 'Kalama and a station building and facilities re quested at Kelso. The commission Is sued no orders today, postponing; de cision until all evidence la in at Kelso. The railroad officials promised to rectify all cause of complaints. The commis sion will finish the southwest tomorrow nd return to Olympia. by evening. The members of the party, H. A. Falr hilda, chairman; Jesse S. Jones and J. C. Lawrence, commissioners; A. W. Perley, track expert: Frank Dallam, sec retary, and II. L. Gray, engineer, ar rived in Vancouver this morning: and were met by a delegation of citizens from the Vancouver Commercial Cliib Including; Judge A. L. Miller, John Bl well, C. J. Moss, Floyd Swan, t. Irwin end E. E. Beard, and taken over the city for a ride In automobiles. Take Two to Penitentiary. H. C. Holman and J. W. Taylor uill be taken to the Penlntentlary today by Sheriff Stevens and beputy Sheriff H. P. Hunter. Holman will serve Ave years for highway robbery and Taylor two for passing bad checks.
