THE Commission appoiuted to einniine and re port upou the expenses incurred in tha sup prcasion of hostilities in the late Indian war in Ur cgon aud Washington by tha Territorial Govern ments of said Territories, hereby give notice that hereafter tlia board will concentrate its work at Vancouver, W. T., where all applications and crmmttuicationa touching its official duties may ba made. The kbors of tha Commission, under the law aad the order organizing the board, are devoted to ascertaining and reporting the expenses neeettarilf incurred by the two Territoriet in tuppretring Indian kottilitiet. Spoliation claims and claima for the toes of properly during the war, not actually in the publio service, ciuu be euleruined or passed upon. Claima of Una kind can only ba acted upon under further legislation of Cengreaa. Persons having claims yet unadjusted with the respective Territorial authorities should see to it that Sue-It claims be recognized by the fro per de partments of the late volunteer aerviee, and pre sented through them to the commission. Hoping to make a fioal report to the Secretary of War early in the coming autumn, it ia urged by the commission lhal authorities and chvmanta in terested will exhibit the promptness which will render anoh consummation practicable.
