Members and friends of the church also received red envelopes ex- plaining the program challenge, Talents Mul- tiplied. Talents were a denomination of money in Biblical times. On Sunday, talents referred to the talented people of First Lutheran Church whose challenge it is to be good stewards of the gifts they have been given, such as person- al abilities, good minds and creative skills, and use them to do additional community outreach.
