Charles Holman, Jr., is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holman. Hoff HOFF, July 12. Mrs. Fred Thomp son, of Beaver Creek, waa called to Canby by the death of her brother, Grant Rose. Death was due to rheu matism and he was III only a few days. Mrs. Hall Is able to be up and around once more, after being ill for the past week. Mr. Hall made a business trip to Oregon City to get repairs for the saw mill. The Fourth was very quiet at the saw mill on account of not being able to have fire crackers, owing to danger ot fire at the mill. Some of the fam ilies enjoyed themselves with picnic dinners, while others enjoyed Ice cream and cake. Mrs. Ralph Clapp and daughter, Eva, spent Sunday at Bolton. F. W. The Fourth of July celebration given under the auspices of the Commercial Club was a great success, and there was a large attendance.
