Logan LOGAN, May 30 Two whole days of sunshine and everybody busy. Looks like old times to see fish boats on the Clackamas. The Busy Workers' Club met at the home of Margaret Hutchlns last Thurs day. Each girl came supplied with crochet materials. Henry Swales is sick with pneu monia at the Oregon City hospital. Famers can ill afford to be sick now. Miss Helen Sprague, of Portland, was a recent week-end visitor of Mrs. T. E. Anderson. Carl Kircheu disked 20 acres in 14 hours with his tractor Monday, using 18 gallons of distillate to do it. Some think it pretty tough because it rains here, but rain is good com pared to some of those recent wind races in the east and south. Some boys, tin cans, cow bells, etc., were a combination that tried to cha rivari the newly weds recently. After wasting a lot of good noise found out it was only "him" at home. Only a few more days until the 4th of June and the agony will be over. Some of Logan's juniors took a spin to Cascade Locks Sunday. Indications are that the peach crop will be "slim" around here. One of F. S. Hutchins' horses was severely injured recently. The colt became frightened and "lunged" back on the end of the wagon tongue making a bad wound,- , Our local store will be closed on Saturday hereafter, as that is the Ad ventist Sabbath day. P. Bonney's son, of Oregon City, visited him one day Inst week- The little grandson, Frank, remained for a longer visit. A. L. Larkins and family spent Sun day with Mrs. Larkins; brother and tamlly at Cedardale. John Comer is planting three cres cucumbers this year. Robert Orem was a dinner guest at his uncle's Sunday. Cedardale school closes Monday, June 4, with a program, and a picnic dinner. Everyone is invited. Come and bring your lunch. On June 2, Cedardale Literary Soci ety give their last program for the sea son. Richard Orem Is working in the mill at Mulino. Ruth Larkins spent Sunday night with her cousin, Doras Orem, and vis ited the school Monday morning. The newlyweds went on their honeymoon trip. We wish them success and happiness. The Clarkes school Is going to have their basket social on Friday evening, June 1st. They want everybody to come, especially the girls to bring baskets and hoys to buy them. Ernest Ilerer bought a Dodge car. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stromgrecn, of Colton, went to town on Monday to visit their daughters, Miss Florence and Miss Pearl. Sam Elmer and family visited I Stout and family Sunday afternoon.
