DANIELS, OF MUL1NQ, PASSES Ai! Mrs. M. K. Ihinlels, of Mullno, died m the Oregon City hospital at 2:40 Monody morning at the axe of 37 years and one month. She was born in Sac ramento, Cal., and lived at Mullno for several years. The funeral will be held today at the Graham cemetery. Mullno. Glcsy, an Aurora physician, Is defendant In a $10,000 malpractice suit filed In the circuit court Wednes day by P. O. Holland. Dr. Giesy was called to attend Holland July 8, 1915, when he was Injured and was suffer ing from a modified Pott'a fracture. A suit similar to the one filed Wednes day was brought several months ago and came to trial Inst June, when the defendant was granted a non-suit. The plaintiff alleges that the Aurora doc tor was careless in treating the cane, and that he Is suffering permanent in Jury as a result. SHERIFF OE CLACKAMAS COUNTY. PASSES AM CIVIL WAR VETERAN AND ONE TIME PROMINENT LOCAL POLITICIAN DIES. John G. I'llsbury, for nearly 40 years a resident of Oregon City, died Monday at bla home at Woodmere, east of Portland. He was aged 77 years and one month. Mr. PlUbury came to Oregon City from the east In the last '60s and was prominent In the early life of Oregon City. He waa a staunch Republican and served as sheriff of Clackamas county and was for four years receiver of public monies of the I'nited States land office at Oregon City. Hi) waa married October 11, 1871, to Mrs. Mar garet S. Post, who survives him, along' with two daughters, Mrs. Vera Ells worth and Mrs. Hazel Berrlan. both of Portland. Mr. PUsbury served during the civil war In company D, first regiment, Maine volunteer Infantry. He was a son of Samuel H. and Jane E. Suther land Pilsbury, and was bora In York county, Maine, August 19, 1839. He moved to Portland to reside about 15 years ago. He was a member of Falls City lodge, A. I. U.
