Steadiness was again the feature of the livestock market at the Portland I'nion Stock Yards to day. Receipts were very light and the run was also Finall. At that, prices paid for ".logs were practically to;, as none were of the quality to command the extra nickel paid yesterday. With the market holding steady at 9 per hundred, bhlppers cannot complain. There was but one 'one shipper this morning. C. I.. Palk Jr. sending 1:1 one car of hoes and sheep from Linn county.
