General Ob regon, newly appointed by Carranza as minister of war, today was reported on his way to Juarez, ready to take the field In "onimand of the Mexican troops that will rival the American soldiers in their pursuit of Villa. General Obrcson started from Quere taro, according to the report, when it became certain that Urigadler General Pershing was ready to cross the bor der. The arrival of Obrenon in Juarez will bring the Carranza campaign into Immediate action. If Villa hates any one more than another, that man is Obregon. It was Obregon who beat Villa at Ccllaya. Obregon is the big man in the Car ranza government. Obregon would take a keen personal satisfaction in capturing Villa, and personal satis factions are a great factor In the war fare of Mexico. The! senate today passed the Hay-Chamber-1 lain bill authorizing the recruiting of I the army up to a war footing, 120,000 I men. The bill now goes to President Wilson for his signature. John Mc.Maush, an aged and Inllrm, filed suit in the circuit court Tuesday against his son and (laughter, Ida and Ethan McMaush, to force restitution from the latter of the proicrty deeded to them by the. father some time ago, because of alleged failure of tho son and daughter to carry out their con tract to care for hi in and an invalid daughter. The McMaugliH reside in Oswego. They are among the old residents there. The complaint further alleges that Ida and Ethan McMaugh have been guilty of cruelty and abusive i treatment of the father and the invalid ! daughter. Villa Killing All. COU'MIll'S. X. M.. March 13. From Coralltos Villa has gone to Pub Ian, a Mormon colony of 5000. which he burned. Teh Mormons had fled to he burned. The Mormons had fled to the old town of Casa Grandes. Villa has only 300 bandits with hltn. Villa was nt Coralltos yesterday, ac cording to C. E. Tracy, of Douglas, w ho escaped from him after riding for 24 houia. and arrived here today. With him came V. S. Trond, who escaped from the Coralltos ranch massacre. Villa seized 42 sacks of gold and silver bullion from the El Tlgre Mining com pany and Tracy had followed him since March 11 in un effort to find it. Villa, said Tracy today, is terroriz ing the countryside and killing all he meets. The entire family of Gregors Palanco was murdered. Villa Is shoot ing all captives. Five ranchers were murdered nt Cor alltos and the ranch house was burned, according to a messuge received by E. E. Houghton, manager of the ranch. .
