In the ladles' textile department are many handsome articles, the premiums having been given on Thursday. Among those having many articles that have been awarded premiums in this department are: Mrs. C. P. Leonard, of Canby. whose eyelet em broidery bed coverlet was awarded two blue ribbons. Miss Clara Miller, of Oregon City, Misses Florence Day. ton and Francis Dayton, of Milwaukie, Mrs. Fred Fllllplan. of Canby, Mrs. F. Carlough. of Gladstone, Mrs. 8. 01 son. of Gladstone. Mrs. F. K. Mrs. George Story and Mrs. Marrs, of Oregon City, were awarded many premiums on their birds, and were among the most attractive birds In the show ring. Mrs. E. J. Lanklns. of Hubbard, has some fine Plymouth Rocks as well as Buff Leghorns, and has been awarded first on pen pullets. first on cockrel, first on pullet, second on pullet Dlmick Farm Takes Awards. In the swine department the Dlmick Block farm carried away a large por tion of the prizes on the Poland Chinas, as also did J. R. Cole, of Mo lalla. The Dlmick Stock farm was awarded grand champion on aged sow, and brood sow, first on aged sow, sec ond on gilts under one year and over six months, second on gilts under six months, second on boars over one and under two years, first on boars over six months and under 12 months, first on fat barrow. J. R. Cole, of Molalla, was awarded first on aged boar, sec ond on boar under one year, first and second on boar six months old and un der one year, first on sow under one year, first on sow under bIx months. This Is one of the new attractions at this year's fair, and from the Interest the people attending the fair this year, there Is no doubt but that the present roof will be enlarged for next year's rair, when many are already contem plating to enter paintings and articles pertaining to the art line.
