VICTIM OF ACCIDENT IS BURIED; JOHN RYMAN, KILLED BY PILING INTERMENT AT CANBY MOLALLA Canby, Ore., cFeb. 2. (Special) The Interment of John Ryman, who was killed by a falling piling Friday morning at Townsend, was made this ' morning in the Zion cemetery after a brief sen-ice held under the auspices of the local order of I. 0. 0. F. Funeral services were held yester day at the home of the family In Woodburn and the body brought to this city on the morning train, arriv ing here at 9:45 o'clock. The proces sion went direct from the depot to the cemetery. The pallbearers were Ed ward Kruger, William Evans, Charles Thomas, Andie Knight, J. L. Combs and George Hendrlckson Ryman, who was superintending a gang of men unloading a car of piling on the Southern Pacific track at Town send Friday morning, was struck In the head by a falling piling and died a few minutes later In a doctor's of fice In Wnndburn. He has lived In Canby more than 10 years and made frequent visits here. FUNERAL OF CANBY MAN HELD Services Are Conducted in the Meth odist Church Thursday Canby, Ore., Jan. .29. (Special) The funeral services of I. F. Price, who died yesterday at the Oregon City hospital, was held in the Methodist church here this afternoon, Rev. T. H. Down officiating. Interment was in Zion cemetery. I. F. Price has been a resident of Canby for the last six months and was 67 years of age at the time of his death. He Is survived by his wife. The pallbearers were: J. Ore., Feb. 2.-(Special The Second Quarterly conference held at the Methodist church yesterday was considered a successful affair. The district superintendent. Dr. Moore, preached to a crowded house in the morning and dinner was served in the basement of the church, follow ed by the business meeting. The conference was attended by delegates from Central Point, Cams and Mullno. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Al bright of Oregon City were.also prea ent. The next conference will be held at Central Point in May.
