A paralytic stroke is supposed to have been the cause. BARLOW, Hop picking is on in full blast, but the yards are not yielding as well this year as usual. If the weather continues to be good most of the yards will be finished this week, but the hops are of a good quality.' R. E. Irwin and son, Elmer, left Monday for Mr. Irwin's old home at Sioux City, Iowa, where he will visit his mother and other relatives. They expect to remain about two months.
