Wail, 350 Marguerite avenue, the contracting parties being Mini Fanny J. (irey, lit) ice of Mrs. Wait, and Leslie Herbert Cow ing of Oregon City. The bride looked lovely in a rich costume of white silk, trimmed with pearls, end a .'ell of silk moeline completely enveloped the fig ure. fhe carried a bouquet of Nephetos roses. The ceremony was performed by Rov. Thomas L. Cole, in (lie presence of the Immediate families of the contract' ing parties, and a few int mate friends of the bride. The house was decorated with a profusion of roses. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served, after which the newly-married couple Jt-ft for a short wedding trip by the Call iornla steamer amid showers of rice. Mr. and Mrs. Cowing will make their home in Oregon City. Dkath ok Dr. Pkdmak Dr. E. C. Pedinan, of Clackamas, Or., died of apoplexy Friday at 8 p. m., aged 78 years, tie leu a wiuuw uuu neyem children, among them George R. and Henry A. Dedman. Dr. Dedman was a well-known and highly-esteemed physician during the active time of his life In the states of Missouri and Illinois. There are severa1 of the Oregon pioneers of the years ot 1850 and 1852 yet living who had their chests of medicine pre. pared by Dr. Dedman for the long Journey auro9s the plains. He came to Oregon In 1878, and located in Clack amas, where he lived in pence until liii death. His remains were taken to Multnomah cemetery. Bicyclists Mket. The wheelmen of the city held their second business meet ing in the Cataract hose house on Tues day evening, which resulted in selecting as ribbon colors purple and green. The Ladies' Relief Corps of Portland came to Oregon City by electric car and proceeded to Broderick's park on Tues day, where they were joined by the Mead Relief Corps of this city. At noon a delicious lunch was served after which short speeches were made. In the evening a fraternal visit was made to the Meade Relief Corps by the Portland visiors.
