' IN THE COUNTY COURT OP THE COUNTY OF CROOK, STATE OF OREGON In the matter of the formation of the Lone Pine Irrigation District, PETITION: To the Honorable County Court of Crook Coun ty, Oregon : KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we the undersigned residents and free holders within the State of Oregon and Coun ty of Crook, respectfully petition the Honorable uunty court of Crook County, Oregon, as ncreinarter set forth and each signer hereto, for himself declares and says: That I am the holder of title to lands sns ceptable to irrigation from the source herein after described, situated within the boundaries of said proposed District, as hereinafter more particularly set forth and described. Said petitioners whose names are hereinafter signed to and made part of this petition here by propose the organisation of an Irrigation District and aaid signers and petitioners here by declare that it is the purpose of the peti tioners to organise aaid Irrigation District un der and by virtue of the provisions of Chapter 867 of the General Laws of Oregon for 1917, and any other acts and parts of acta amenda tory thereof, and in conformity with the pro visions of the law providing therefor, petition this Court for the purposes in this petition stated and given. The designation of the said proposed Irriga tion District and the name under which it shall be known ia the LONE PINE IRRIGATION DISTRICT The source of supply from which the water to he used within aaid proposed Irrigation District shall be the Deschutes River; aaid water to be contracted for by the District from the Central Oregon Irrigation Company or ita assigns ; said water to be furnished to aaid Dis trict by Bid Company or its assigns at a point within said District, in Crook County, State of Oregon. The signers of this Petition constitute a majority of the holders of title of lands aus ceptable of irrigation from the source herein described within the boundaries of aaid pro posed Irrigation District, and said signers here with petition the Court that three Directors be elected as Directors of aaid Irrigation District, and that Directors be elected at large from the entire Diatr V The pro! ole cost of organisation of the aforesaid Irrigation District is the sum of two hundred fifty dollars and tha Petitioners here to accompany this Petition with a good and sufficient Bond in the sura of five hundred dollars, which is double the amount of prob able cost of the organisation of said Irrigatioi District. WHEREFORE, your Petitioners pray thai said Irrigation District be organised as provide by law, and particularly as set forth and fa quired by the Statutes hereinbefore referref to; that said Petition be heard as required b law and that said County Court shall do an and all things necessary and requisite to effect the organisation, and for such other and fur ther order, action and relief as may be nec essary and provided by law for the organisa tion of said Irrigation District, your Petitioners will ever pray.
