Mr. and Mrs. Price will move to Prineville this winter where they have bought hay for their cattle. Mrs. Baker is visiting her daugh ter, Mrs. Abbott. Al Lnad will make final proof on his homestead Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Smead are em ployed on the Geo. Russell ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Norton entertained at dinner Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Mc Mickle and Mrs. Digginheart, 'of Redmond. The N. C. R. Club has called a special meeting for Friday night of this week to raise funds for the Y. M. C. A. war work. It will be the duty of those who have charge of this work to Bee personally each person who cannot attend the meet ing and it is to be hoped a special effort will be made by all to attend and give this necessary work their moral and financial support.
