GERMAN ATTACKS REPULSED Tha Entire Weitern Battle Line In volved in Fighting. Paris. An attack made by the Ger mans in the Argonne forest was re pulsed with extremely heavy losses, according to the official statement made by the French war department. The official announcement added that "the repulse o the enemy in this re gion has been complete." This report says also that attacks along the entire front were general, and "at only one point did the enemy obtain a footing for even a moment," this was In a French advanced trench, and the French report goes on to say that the Germans were immediately driven out, with the loss of several prisoner. To William Hall, one of the above named defednants: In the name of the State of Ore gon: You are hereby required to appear and answer the complaint of plantiff filed against you in the above entitled action within ten days from the date of the service of this summons upon you, if served in Crook County, Ore gon, or if served within any other co unty in the state of Oregon then with in twenty days from the date of the service of this summons upon you, or if served by publication hereof as pro vided by law, then on or before the 16th day of September, 1915, and you are hereby notified that if you fail to so appear or answer, for want thereof the plantiff will take judg ment against you for the sum of One thousand dollars, with interest there on at the rate of eight per cent per annum from the 27th day of Decem ber, 1913, and for the further sum of One Hundred ten dollars as at torneys fees, and for the costs and disbursments of this action, and for an order of said court that certain personal property belonging to you, and attached in this action, and locat ed in this county, be sold and tho proceeds of said sale applied to the payment of said judgment, attorneys fees and costs. This summons is pub lished in the Crook County Journal for six full weeks, in seven consecu tive issues thereof, commencing with the issue of August 5, 1915, and end ing with the issue of September 16, 1915, by order of the Hon.
