Sold 14,000 Head of Sheep. Ono of the large! Mock sales ever made in the county was con ummAted last week Rftvs the Iake- view Examiner. Pave Edler sold to Mr. Duque, of Buffalo meadows, through Owen T. McKendree, alwut 14,000 head of sheep, to he delivered July first. Mr. Edler gets the wool and counts in the lamhe. We were unable to find out the price paid for the sheep, hut were informed that it wan a big price, and about 170,000 dol lars will change hands. Mr. Edler still owns some large tracts of land, but is out of the sheep busi ness. Dave Edler has been in the sheep business here for many years, and having started with a small flock, his rapid raise from a poor man to a handsome fortune is interesting to note. It is under stood that hit, desire to sell his sheep was actuated by the diffi culties in securing range on ac count of the reserves. Information Concerning Eighth Grade Fi nal Examination.
