The lighting is laid out according to the latest and most ecientiftc methods of electric lighting. Thia building, including mechanical equipment, can be built for 25,000. I'i'l I. In front of the bar ia the judge's bench, the court stenographer's desk, the wit ness stand, the jury box and the attorney's table. To the rear of the judge's bench and opening into the court room are the I Mat net Judge's chamber, 16x17, and the stenographer's ofDce 16x9 feet. At the opposite end of the court room ia locatod the jury room. 14 x22 feet; opening into the hall. Thia room haa a private toilet. The left portion of thia atory ia divided inte a grand jury room lfx 19; and two rooma, 13x19 and 12xl9 for the uae of the county at torney. The toilet rooma for men and women are at the enda of the hall. Thia Btoryjhaaja'rcilirig height of fourteen feet. . . -.: The exterior of the building ia in the Claaaical atyle. The oaae course ia 6 feet 6 inches high, of concrete marked off to represent clean cut aahlar. The building above the base course is faced with pressed brick. Large plaster, with Doric caps and bases of stone, run through from the base course to the anderside of the eatable ture. The parapet wall above the cornice is of brick with coping of stone. The windowa are large and all have square heada, except the second atory windowa in the end bays, which have aemi-circu-lar arches. The main entrance doorway is crowned with a trian gular pediment of stone supported on carved atone bracketa. The doorway ia framed with a moulded stone architrave. The main entrance atepe of concrete are flanked with atone abuttmenta on which rest large electroliera of wrought iron. The foundation of the building is of concrete with concrete foot ings. The walla of the superstructure are of brick faced with pressed brick. The vaults have walls, floors and ceilinga of rein forced concrete. The partitions and floore have wooden atuds and joists. The in terior is plaatered with Gypaum plaster and the flnish woodwork ia Oregon flr.
