Miss Minetti May Magers now of Portland gives her occupation in "Who's Who" as vocal teacher and choir director. , She was born at Mc Minnvillo and educated in the McMinn ville college, the m.uic department of Willamette University and the Chicago Music College. She taught in Salem until 1904, and again from 1906 to 1908. She again took np the study of vocal music in 3915. Her activities in music have included conducting the high Bchool glee club. The biography states Miss Magew was responsible for introducing music into the public schools of Salem.
