follows: Mezzo soprano: born in Louu
City, Nebraska, Peb. 10, 1888. She was

.Mrs. Frickey was choir director of
the Pirst United Evangelical churoh in
1914 and 1U15, according to the biogra
phy, and was leader of the Salem Sym
phony orchestra. She -has composed a

many essays und poems and articles pub
lished by magazines.
Her club associations include member
ship in the Salem W. C. T..TT, honorary
members of the Tasadena Outlook club,

lem Heights, Salem, ogon.
Miss Minetti May Magers now of
Portland gives her occupation in
"Who's Who" as vocal teacher and
choir director. , She was born at Mc
Minnvillo and educated in the McMinn
ville college, the m.uic department of
Willamette University and the Chicago
Music College.
She taught in Salem until 1904, and
again from 1906 to 1908. She again took
np the study of vocal music in 3915.
Her activities in music have included
conducting the high Bchool glee club.
The biography states Miss Magew was
responsible for introducing music into
the public schools of Salem. Also that
she wrote tho state course of study in
music. ,
